This pilot research program, hosted by the Institute for Work & Health (IWH) and funded by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), consists of 12 sessions running from September 17 to December 3, 2021 on Fridays from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM EST.
Participation in this ECHO includes:
- carefully reviewing and signing a Statement of Collaboration agreement;
- attending at least 60% of the weekly sessions;
- completing pre-surveys, weekly surveys, and post-surveys;
- presenting a short, anonymized case about a client in your practice during a session.
ECHO OEM aims to increase provider capacity to manage patients with conditions that impact their ability to work. It is intended for primary health-care providers licensed to practice in Ontario with priority given to those who currently provide direct care from remote and underserviced areas of the province. Students in health-care programs may also apply.
Due to capacity limitations, enrolment is not guaranteed. Registrants will be contacted regarding their application status.
