ECHO Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ECHO OEM)

A pilot telementoring program for primary health-care providers in Ontario that aims to increase their capacity to recognize conditions related to occupational and environmental exposures, and to treat and support patients with injuries and illnesses that affect their ability to work

About ECHO OEM program

This pilot research program is hosted by the Institute for Work & Health (IWH) and funded by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). ECHO OEM ran in two cycles of 12 sessions in the fall of 2021 and the spring/summer of 2022. Results of the program evaluation will be available on this website in 2023. Stay tuned for announcements on future cycles of ECHO OEM.
